Not medical advice. Articulo is a speech-practice tool. It does not diagnose or treat speech, language, or hearing conditions and is not a substitute for evaluation and therapy by a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP). If you have concerns about a child's speech, consult an SLP or physician.
Automated scores are estimates. Pace, clarity, and word scores are produced by speech-recognition software and heuristics that can be wrong, especially with young children, accents, background noise, and speech sound disorders. Use them as practice feedback, not clinical measurement.
Recordings & data (beta). Accounts, profiles, intake answers, scores, and audio recordings are stored securely in your Articulo account so you can sign in from any device. Only members of your account can access them (coaches with the account password; a student or family member only through the 6-letter code you give them, which opens that one profile). You may delete any recording from the Coach tab, or your entire account by request to hello@articulo.ai. To measure speech, audio is processed by your browser's speech provider (e.g., Google for Chrome) and by Microsoft Azure Speech for per-word scoring; on iPad and iPhone all scoring runs through Azure. Prof Enunci's voice uses your device's built-in text-to-speech. We don't sell data, show ads, or use recordings for anything other than scoring and your own review. A full privacy policy is being finalized with counsel.
Children. Accounts must be created by an adult (18+) who is the parent/guardian, or an educator/therapist with the parent's consent, and who is responsible for the child's use and recordings.
Beta software. Provided "as is," may change or stop working, and may lose data. No warranty. Use at your own risk.
